Important Information and Updates
The foals will be weaned on October 1. While they are being weaned, we will start halter breaking them, getting them familiar with trailer loading, doing any necessary vet work or paperwork, and freeze branding the foals. The tentative pickup date we have set is for November 1, 2026. Buyers, please be touching base with us as weaning is just around the corner.
If you are purchasing a foal still on their mother or during the month of weaning, a deposit will be required to hold the foal. Otherwise, if they are ready to go, they will just need to be paid in full at the time of pickup. Reach out to us with any questions regarding our policy.

Description
One of the most unique foals we have ever raised: palomino roan stud colt by Metallic Huckleberry, son of Metallic Cat and out of a money-earning mare. He is out of Colonelssmokinginger, granddaughter of Colonel Freckles. We expect this colt to mature over 15 hands. He is 6-panel negative and should carry one copy of the cream and roan gene via parentage (is not tested himself currently). He is eligible for NRCHA incentives and will be paid in if the buyer desires. He is smart, catty, and sure to turn heads! Turned out on a hill where he learns to use his feet and cross a creek. We would love to see him go to a performance home- reined cow horse, roping, etc. He should have some speed and cow sense. This colt is stud prospect worthy. He will be halter broke and ready to go to his new home at weaning time.

Description
A stout bay stud colt by Metallic Huckleberry, son of Metallic Cat. He is out of RS CuttinLikeMaggie, a daughter of Cuttin Like My Dad out of a Doc O’Lena bred mare. This colt is exceptionally catty and would make a great potential reined cow horse, cutting, roping, or ranch horse prospect. We don’t expect him to mature much over 15 hands, but he should be very stout. He is built like a brick house. He has plenty of bone and a striking head. He has been turned out on a hill where he learns to use his feet and cross a creek naturally. He is eligible for NRCHA incentives and will be paid in if the buyer desires.
